The sofa features a unique Blend Down Cloud cushion, which contains 25% more feathers and fiber than standard cushions. This cushion has a 2.0 high-density foam core and is capped with a thick layer of Blend Down, ensuring long-lasting comfort and support. The cushion is also encased in a 100% cotton, down-proof ticking to prevent the filling from shifting.
The frame of the sofa is constructed from 5/4 hardwood rails and 13/16 inch laminate hardwoods, which are double-dowelled, glued, and corner-blocked for maximum stability. The seat and back springs are made from heavily gauged sinuous wire, providing excellent support and comfort. Additionally, insulated clips are used to prevent spring noise.
